Barry spent his working life as a Supervisor at Penco. After retiring, he began driving a school bus, a job he truly came to love and looked forward to every day. When he was not working, he loved nothing more than being surrounded by his family and making memories with the people he loved most. His faithful companion, his dog Kali, brought him endless joy and could almost always be found by his side. Cape May, New Jersey was a special place he and his wife took their grandchildren for many years, where so many wonderful memories were made together. He was also a passionate Philadelphia sports fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Phillies and Eagles. Above all, his family was his greatest joy, and being together was where he was happiest.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Diane L. (Kern) Pierce; children; Melissa Tripp, Barry Pierce Jr (Wife: Nadine) grandchildren Kylie Tripp, Jordan Tripp, and Jarred Tripp; Great grandchildren; Benson Tripp, Peyton Deel, and Paisley Tripp Siblings; Betsy Myers, Elenor Yost, George Pierce, Donald Pierce, a host of nieces and nephews, and many other friends and family.
