Emily was a dance/movement therapist whose career encompassed performing and teaching dance and theater and providing therapy and dance-movement therapy services at schools, behavioral health hospitals, clinics, and in private practice. She was a visionary healer who used the creative and performing arts as vehicles for the healing and transformation of her clients. When not in service to others, Emily adored traveling (Italy) and camping and practiced what she preached: she enjoyed painting, writing, horseback riding, playing music, and dancing with friends old and new. She was a deeply spiritual person with a profound reverence for nature, animals, and the unseen but deeply felt world of Spirit, and she saw the best in everybody.
She is survived by her three siblings Laurie Nussdorfer (Nicholas Adams), Adrian G. Nussdorfer Jr. and Barbara Nussdorfer-Eblen (Gary Eblen), her nieces Jessica Eblen and Ashley Murphy, her nephew Michael Eblen, her grandnieces Lily and Riley Eblen-Dunnavant and Gabriella Eblen and many other dear friends and family.
Services will be private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of the Wissahickon or Work to Ride.
