Born in Duesseldorf, Germany to the late Wilhelm and Lydia Wolff and sister to the late Rudi Wolff (Else). Gerti was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Gabriella Graver (Kevin), son Norman (Lyn), 5 beautiful grandchildren, Danielle, Miller, Nicole, Derek and Max and her nephew Heiko Wolff of Germany. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Helmut of 46 years, in 2002.
Gerti lived a full life, loved raising her family, enjoyed traveling, playing golf, bowling, baking and spending time in her pool. After coming to the states in 1958, she married and lived in Pittsburgh, PA for 35 years, retired to Florida for over 25 years, 10 years of which she shared with her husband. Gerti took such pride in being a homemaker and taking care of her beautiful home. She showed us all that her love was our safe place, our guide and our greatest blessing. She taught us so much and we are forever thankful. Her family and friends will always remember her for her “zest for life,” contagious smile, kind heart, genuine personality and of course her chocolate chip cake and German Christmas cookies!
Rest in Peace Mama. You will always be in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life (Open House) will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 714 Talamore Drive, Ambler PA 19002 from 1pm-5pm.
