Gloria R. Krug

Gloria R. Krug of York, Pennsylvania, died on March 31, 2025. She was the wife of the late George B. Krug. Born in Dover on October 11, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dr. J. Ralph Reichley and Mabel M. Reichley.

Gloria graduated from Dover High School and Susquehanna University. She retired from the West York Area School District as a third-grade teacher. As a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church for more than 65 years, Gloria was active in WELCA and the Library Committee, and she served on the Church Council and the Christian Education Committee. She was a member of the Shiloh Garden Club.

Gloria is survived by two daughters, Susan Krug-Gourley (William Gourley) and Linda Knotwell (Michael); three grandchildren, Jonathan Knotwell, Laura Kocaturk (Yasin), and Julia Gourley (Daniel Maurice); and two great-grandchildren, Ercan and Emre Kocaturk.

A graveside service with immediate family will be held at Mt. Rose Cemetery, with her pastor The Reverend Kevin Shively officiating.
