Karen Anne Taylor was born in Philadelphia to Robert and Clara Shechter (nee Loeb), the youngest of their three children. She lived in Olney and moved to Southampton with her family in the mid 1960's where she resided until she married. Karen was a graduate of Wm. Tennent High School and what was then known as MIddle Bucks AVTS, a technical school, where she took data processing classes. She developed life-long friendships during her school years with friends that saw her through some very challenging days. Karen met Dave Taylor at work and together they built a family with two sons and eight grandchildren in Hatboro. They spent 44+ years together and faced her cancer diagnosis in 2019 head-on. She was a determined warrior to not let cancer define her life or take the joy of her family and friends from her. Karen loved her family deeply and adored her grandchildren. Karen is survived by her devoted and loving husband Dave, sons Brian (Emilee) and Gregory (Coleen), four grandsons and four granddaughters, her brother Craig (Janet) and sister Denise (Jim), brother-in-laws Frank (Kathy), Tom, Dale (Glenna) and Scott (Diane) as well as many nieces and nephews along with their growing families.
