Krista Anne Wiechecki

Krista Anne Wiechecki (nee Gilday), 29, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 after a valiant battle with colon cancer. Krista was born October 8th, 1992 to her loving parents Robert and Patricia Gilday of West Grove, PA.

Krista married the love of her life Mark Wiechecki on September 4th, 2016 at West Grove Presbyterian Church. Krista was a much-loved daughter to Patty and Rob, a devoted and a loving wife to Mark, a loving mother to Leona and Piper, a loving and caring sister to Katelyn and Robbie and she was a true friend to many

Krista was a graduate of Avon Grove High School in 2011 and received her Associate degree from Delaware County Community College. Krista had a passion for teaching and children and spent much of her career working in early education and she was a member of West Grove Presbyterian Church and had an affiliation with Avon Grove Nazarene Church and Academy. Krista enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved vacationing at the Jersey shore.

Krista was preceded in death by her grandfathers Chet Gilday and Thomas Albertson. Krista is survived by her precious children Leona and Piper; husband Mark; sister Katelyn Gilday; brother Robbie Gilday; parents Robert and Patricia Gilday; and grandmothers Jean Gilday and Anne Albertson.

Services will be held for Krista on Friday evening, November 6th, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with a funeral service and luncheon to immediately follow at Avon Grove Nazarene Church, 240 State Road, West Grove, PA. 19390. Masks are required during visitation and funeral services.
