

Michael was born on January 25, 1973, in Abington, Pennsylvania. He was a resident of the Wind Gap area of Pennsylvania.
After graduating from William Tennant High School, Michael began his professional career as a car salesman. His outgoing personality and ability to connect with people made him well suited to the profession. He later became a commercial painter, earning the respect of coworkers and clients through his dedication, craftsmanship, and strong work ethic.
When Michael was not working, he embraced life and enjoyed the things that brought him happiness. He loved spending time outdoors, including working in the yard, hiking, and gardening. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, creating artwork, shopping, dancing, going out to eat, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Michael was a true sports fanatic and had an unwavering love for the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed cheering on his favorite team and sharing his passion for sports with those around him.
Michael will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, warm smile, and devotion to the people he loved. He had a special way of making others feel welcome, and his laughter, compassion, creativity, and strength left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is lovingly survived by his fiancée, Joann DeHaven; his mother, Denise Forte; his son, Bryce Forte; his sister, Michele Forte; his stepdaughter, Shianna McCarty; his stepson, Richard Klingle; and his cherished grandchildren, Isabella Forte, Maxwell McCarty, and Eloise McCarty. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Though his life was far too short, Michael’s legacy of love, kindness, generosity, and dedication to his family will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.
Michael’s family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Additional details regarding the location will be shared with family and friends.
The family asks that Michael be remembered not for the day he passed, but for the life he lived, the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the memories he created with those who meant the most to him.
