Thomas E. Mullen, 86, passed away in the early morning on October 13, 2026. He was born April 26, 1940 and raised in Philadelphia PA with his parents Thomas and Mary Mullen. He also had three older sisters: Anne, Mary and Joan. After losing his father at the age of 12, he gained employment to care for his family. Early in his life he worked as a plasterer and in a lumber yard. He married his wonderful wife Rosemarie and had his two children Colleen and Thomas. He was an avid golfer and a true patriot who loved and served his country. He was in the United States Army and stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. Later in life after changing careers and becoming a school bus driver (a job he truly loved) he was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of retiring in Ocala Florida. While there, he and Rose made many wonderful friendships with seniors who moved to the community from all across the U.S. and Canada. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Rosemarie Mullen, daughter Colleen Miller (Glenn Miller), son Thomas Mullen (Debra Mullen), and five grandchildren: granddaughter Jamie Bendas (Nick Bendas), grandson Ryan Miller, granddaughter Katie Tasco (Dominic Tasco), granddaughter Mallory Bruschini (Cameron Bruschini) and great-granddaughter Marlow Bendas. His family will always treasure his humor and never-ending patriotism. There will be a private service for his family.
