
He was born in Danville to the late Gladys (Walter) and Harold Everett.
Mr. Everett was a graduate of Danville High School class of 1964 and a US Army combat veteran of the Vietnam war earning the Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman’s Badge and the Army Commendation Medal.
He retired from Dictaphone Corporation from various sales and sales management positions. Mr. Everett was an avid catch and release fisherman and fly tier. He enjoyed watching and feeding nature’s wildlife. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose, 9th Infantry Regiment Association, 25th Infantry Division Association, the Museum of the US Army and the Combat Infantrymen’s Association. He was a frequent contributor to Manna on Main Street, Philabundance, Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, the Philadelphia Philly House Rescue Mission, Montgomery Country SPCA, the National Museum of the US Army, Tunnels to Towers, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
He is survived his wife, Jody, married 57 years, his daughter Marci Smith and husband Bill, his son Bob, and grandchildren Bailey and Sara.
