

William “Bill” Killen, born on January 27th, 1940, passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2026, at Manatawny Manor in Pottstown Pennsylvania. Leaving behind a legacy of strength, service, and a deep devotion to his family.
Bill is survived by one brother, John “Jack” Killen. Predeceased by his loving parents, William Killen & Elsie Killen, sister Ann Day, ex- wife & lifelong friend Eleanor Killen.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, a role that reflected his sense of duty, discipline and pride. Beyond his service, he was known for his witty sense of humor, always ready with a clever remark or a joke that could lighten any mood.
He found great joy in the outdoors, especially hunting at his beloved hunting cabin in Potter County, Pennsylvania. Those quiet moments in nature brought him peace and were among his happiest times. He also spent many years working as the golf course superintendent at the Paxon Hollow Country Club, where he was respected not only for his hard work but also his passion for the game. An excellent golfer himself, Bill often joked that his skill came naturally as any left-hander would understand.
Bill was the loving father of four children: William Killen Jr, husband of Tracey Killen, John Killen, Debbie Nojak, wife of Steve Nojak, Andrea Connell, wife of John Connell.
A proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Shawn Killen, Drew Killen, Michael Scholeck, husband of Staci Scholeck, Erin Boyer, wife of Jason Boyer, Amber Johnson, wife of Shawn Johnson, Megan Connell, Tricia Wuest, wife of Jake Wuest
Bill was the cherished great-grandfather to fourteen great-grandchildren: Grayson, Kinsley, Matthew, Abigale, Mikey, Natalie, Collin, Cody, Aubrey, Braedyn, Cameron, Austin, Carter & Grayson.
Bill will be remembered for his humor, his strength, and the love he had for his family. He leaves behind memories that will be treasured and stories that will continue to be shared for generations.
