William served in the Korean war beginning on December 12, 1952, and was honorably discharged in October of 1954 earning several medals as a result of his service.
William lived at the Southeastern Veterans Center for many years and was a joy to all who knew him. He would get up early in the morning and walk into town daily until his stroke and was lovingly referred to by staff as “Where’s Waldo.”
Even after he was disabled , he would navigate all over the facility in his wheelchair and loved sitting outside at the beautiful campus.
He had a wonderful sense of humor and prided himself on keeping up to date on the stock market and current events.
He is preceded in death by brother Charles Taylor and sisters Helen Henry (Taylor), Judith Myers (Taylor) and Dorothy Doran (Taylor).
A memorial service will be held at a future date at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey.
We look for to seeing our beloved Uncle Bill in the resurrection as brought out in Revelation 21:3 and 4.
Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania at King of Prussia.
