Charles W. Smith Jr.

December 21, 2025 in the care of Hospice of Central PA, Carolyn’s House at the age of 73. He was a resident of Steelton, Pennsylvania. The son of the late Charles W. Smith Sr. & Lillian R. Smith (Price), born in Harrisburg, PA on January 8, 1952. He attended Harrisburg School District and was a Retired Truck Freight Hauler having driven all over the states. Charles was a avid Harley Davidson fanatic and enjoyed riding his Harley’s, watching old Westerns, doing auto mechanic work, and spending time with his family & friends. Always eager to help anyone in need and was indeed the life of the party back in the day whether camping with family or hanging with friends. He loved his family & friends dearly and was loved equally in return.

Charles is survived by his niece and caretaker Dianna Brown (Thomas) of Harrisburg PA, three brother’s John Smith Sr. (Shelly) of Harrisburg PA, Richard Smith Sr. (late Sharon) of Shermansdale PA, Tim Smith of Duncannon PA, two sister’s Sandra Keller (Harry) of Harrisburg PA, Mary Brownawell (Rick) of Newville PA, and an abundance of other family & friends. He was preceded in death by a brother Gary Andree.

In accordance with his final plans, cremation services have been entrusted to the Cremation and Burial Society of PA, Inc.

A celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later date by the family for all who wish to attend.
