Denise M Pursell

Denise M. Pursell (Nana) 68, of Lewisberry, PA passed away at home on Friday, July 10, 2026. She was born October 4, 1957 in 29 Palms, CA and was the daughter of Joan Marino and the late Frank Marino Jr.

Denise is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years John Pursell, son Frank Pursell (Mandi); daughter Amanda Ripton (Jonathan); beloved grandchildren Madison, Violet, Charlotte, Jonathan, Reagan, and Sloane; mother Joan Marino; brothers Barth Marino (Tressia); Paul Marino III (Tonya); preceded in death by her father and brother Peter Marino.

Denise dedicated 45 years to her career in the medical field, building deep, lasting bonds with her colleagues along the way. Known for her hospitality, she loved cooking and hosted countless memorable gatherings for those she loved. Denise found joy in the simple pleasures of life: selecting her flower arrangements each spring, watching Jeopardy!, playing card games, and beautifully decorating her home. Whether she was traveling to the Caribbean, relaxing poolside, or spending winters snowbirding in Florida, Denise’s happiest moments were always those shared with her family, grandchildren, and closest friends.
