

Elmer James Slaseman, 81, of Mechanicsburg PA, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026. Born August 6, 1944, Elmer lived a vibrant and dynamic life filled with passion and connection.
A talented master mechanic and successful businessman, Elmer built a career as a mechanical contractor. His expertise and dedication to his craft earned him respect in his field and among those who knew him. Known for his boundless energy and self-proclaimed status as an "extra extrovert," Elmer thrived in social settings, known as the life of the party, bringing laughter and warmth wherever he went.
Elmer had a zest for life that extended beyond his professional achievements. He enjoyed sushi, motorcycles, boating and fashion - interests that reflected his adventurous spirit and unique sense of style.
Elmer is survived by his daughter Tonia Rae Slaseman and his beloved grandsons Scott Youngblood and Carter Slaseman. He was predeceased by his cherished life partner Sherry Wintermyer, son Todd Slaseman and sister Alice Wilt.
Elmer's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy of joy, hard work and love for life continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in it.
