Jose M. Lua

February 14, 1980 – October 2, 2025

Jose Manuel Lua, lovingly known as "Lua," passed away peacefully at his home on October 2, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on February 14, 1980, in Tulare, California, Lua brought light and joy to those around him every day of his life.

He was the beloved husband of Stacy Ann Ortega, with whom he shared 26 years of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Lua was the cherished son of Augustin and Hermila Lua of Cutler, California, and a devoted brother to Ericka Lua, Christian Lua and Omar Lua.

Lua lived life with passion and heart. He found joy in dancing, working on cars, helping those in need, and most of all, spending time with his family. His generosity, warmth, and zest for life were felt by all who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in his children: his son Nayel J. Lua of East Berlin, his daughters Analyah Lua from Visalia, California, Jamylett S. Lua, Anaya M. Lua, and Eishally Lua of East Berlin. He was also joyfully anticipating the arrival of his first grandchild, who will grow up surrounded by the love and stories of a remarkable man.

Lua's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him.

There will be viewing of his ashes at 1pm followed by the mass service to celebrate Lua’s life it will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2pm at St. Francis Xavier Church, 25 W High St Gettysburg, PA 17325 United States.
