Margaret M. Hull

Margaret M. Hull, 96, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Tree of Life Personal Care Home in Hanover. She was the widow of Dean Hull.

Born April 17, 1930, in Manheim Township, she was daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Stine) Mummert.

She was a member of Emmanuel UCC in Hanover where she sang with the choir and played the handbells, and attended Bayshore Community Church in North Fort Myers, FL. She was a faithful member of the Christian Women’s Club, the Craft Club, Northeast Club, and the Windy Hills Senior Center. She loved to go camping, and later in life, would spend the cold winter months at their place in North Fort Myers Florida where she would play bocce ball and take her daily walks around the park.

She worked at Beaudin Shoe and Sylvania Shoe and was the Sexton at Emmanuel until she retired.

Surviving are her children, Randy (JoAnn) Hull, Tony (Wendy) Hull, and Sandy (Joseph) Sheaffer; daughter-in-law, Sherri Hull; grandchildren, Missy Hull, Stacey Caufield, Amanda & Zach Sheaffer, Tyler & Katie Hull; great-grandchildren, Sawyer & Taylor Caufield, William & Mia Sheaffer; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Hull; sisters, Betty Kretz, Velma Snyder, and Kathlene Milhimes; and a brother, Charles Mummert.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 27, 11:00am at Emmanuel UCC, 124 Broadway, Hanover PA 17331, with Reverend Ken Peterkin officiating. Visitation will from 10:15am - 11:00am at the church.
