Ping-In Liu Kao

Ping-In Kao of Harrisburg, PA passed away July 29, 2025, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tsung-I Kao. Ping-In is survived by her three children, Yi-How Kao, Yi-Chen Kao Forsyth, and Coral Kao Witmer; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was an active member of the Chinese community in Harrisburg, having sponsored and supported many medical students at the Hershey Medical Center. Ping-In was an enthusiastic gardener and a member of the Linglestown Garden Club. She enjoyed weekly mahjong games with friends and was well known for her beautiful hand-knitted clothing. Ping-In leaves a legacy of resilience, kindness, and love. She will be missed.

There will be a memorial service for Ping-In on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Colonial Park Community Baptist Church, 700 Houcks Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. The church will open at 10:15 AM, and the service will begin at 11:00 AM. After the service, please join us for lunch and fellowship at Lin He Buffet, 421 Friendship Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
