

Wanda “Kay” Lang, 81, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026, 8:00 am, at her home.
She was born May 21, 1945, in Muskegon, Michigan, in the back of a Plymouth in the hospital parking lot to the late Ora and Wilma (Dyer) Willett.
Kay attended Muskegon High School and worked as an Executive Secretary at Alma Plastics, Gittlemans- a women’s clothing chain, and Playbuoy, now called Avalon Pontoon Boat, a manufacturer in Alma, MI.
She worked with her husband Bill for the last 40+ years fixing totals and building custom cars doing office assistance, custom interiors, and body work.
Kay was a wonderful person, a loving wife, mother, friend, and grandmother. She enjoyed walks on the beach, playing Euchre and Dominos, going to the movies, dinner, and antiquing.
Kay is survived by her husband of 43 years, William (Bill) Lang, son, Wade Horvath, daughter, Jana (Boo)VanScoik, grandchildren, Galen (Kelly) Horvath, Eric (Nymiah) Horvath, Mark (Alexia) Horvath, Rachel Horvath, and great-grandsons, Mason and Flynn Horvath.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce (Bobby) Ashley, brother and sister-in-law, Bill (Sue) Willett, and nephews, Bruce and Brian Ashley.
Services are private.
