It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Elizabeth Fedock, age 80 affectionally known as “Cookie” for most of her life, who passed away suddenly on August 6, 2025 at her home in Dallas, PA. Born on November 17, 1944 in Wilkes Barre, PA, she was the beloved wife of William Fedock who lovingly took care of her with the help of her daughter Jackie Brighthaupt since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Agnes graduated from St Leo’s High School in 1962. She was mother to six children, Chris Sobeck (Terry Tyson), Lake Wynonah; Mike Sobeck (Barb), Wilkes-Barre; Jackie (Ed Brighthaupt), Dallas; Johnny Sobeck, Wilkes-Barre; Paul Sobeck, Wilkes-Barre; Jeremy Sobeck, Plains Twp.; five grandchildren, Erin Herbert, Theresa Watson, Joanna Sobeck, Edward Brighthaupt III and Brinley Sobeck; two great-grandchildren, Thurston and Zoey Herbert; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her parents, John V. Mulhern and Julia Mulhern.
Agnes Elizabeth Fedock was known for her friendly personality, warm smile, and taking interest in others. She loved singing, music, and dancing and was a dedicated member of the Dallas Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for the past 43 years of her life. She enjoyed encouraging neighbors with a positive hope for the future. A memorial service will be held on September 6, 2025, at 2:00pm at 84 Hildebrandt Road, Dallas, PA 18612.
