Barbara M. Smith

Born in Berlinsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Helen (Dotter) Yale.

She is survived by son, Clay J. Dewalt, and daughter Holly A.(Dewalt) Ferencze, both of Palmerton, PA, and Daughter-in-law, Carol Smith of Palmerton. She also has five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Barbara was very active in Slatington Baptist Church. She served as a member of American Baptist Women's Ministries, and the church diaconate board. She was also the flower coordinator, and sang on the church choir.She worked for Scotty's Fashions in Palmerton, retiring after 18 1/2 years.Services will be held at Slatington Baptist Church, 509 Main St, Slatington, PA 18080, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Barbara's name to Slatington Baptist Church, Slatington, PA.
