Brandon Robert Buck age 41 of Palmerton PA passed away on July 23 in St. Luke’s Carbon campus.
He leaves behind his mother Kathryn Bauer of Palmerton, close family friend Roy McLaughlin , companion Brooke Begel of Palmerton and his beloved dog Jax and many cats.
His aunts are Carolyn (Doug) Lenik, Ruth (Glenn) Heil and an uncle Tony (Jen) Bauer . Cousins are Dan, Darrin, and Jason Buck and Eric, Amy and Aaron Bauer.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert E Buck 2024 and his best friend Mark Fiermonte in 2023.
He had struggled with pain issues for many years and been hospitalized for a few weeks before with DKA (Diabetic shock) and more recently nerve pain, and loss of use of his foot with no answers after many tests.
When talking to his friends most would describe his compassion, generosity, and sincere care for those hurting and in need . His deep love and care for his animals or any animal was commendable and he rescued as many as he could.
Although Brandon had done jobs previously with his father and miscellaneous construction, his most successful endeavor was running and managing the tree service he put together called B & P Reliable Tree service. He proudly accomplished that with help by his climber, Bobby Bechtel, and crew Dennie Elmore and Nick Bertalan who were also good friends and helpers besides his workers.
His other loves were fishing especially deep sea and his pool league and online games .
He trusted others and was generous to a fault, even at his own expense.
However, his generosity continues on by the Gift Of Life.
As of this writing, he has saved at least four people through organ donation, one being his heart which continues beating and is somewhat comforting to those who love him.
We will have a celebration of life at Jerusalem UCC church, 545 Church Drive Palmerton. It will be in the Grove behind the church , casual dress with a potluck menu. If you care to bring any food or drinks you are welcome to contribute by doing so.
It will be Saturday, August 23rd from 11 to 3 with a prayer with our wonderful pastor Marian Johnson at 11:30.
She knew Brandon personally and has been with him right through and including the hero walk.
Any other contributions would be appreciated if they went to Forgotten Felines in Germansville in his name.
